Re: Week of December 17th Good for the Wright brothers! They successfully overcame the inertia of the U S. Patent Office. Patents are still the bane of the inventor and/or investor. Obtaining a viable patent is difficult, expensive and universally misunderstood as a useful asset. Comprehensive patent search, analysis and GAAP valuation of intellectual property are the best kept secrets in the technology world. Millions of dollars in assets and cash lay undiscovered in files across the US. It's a bit like not knowing about electricity.
