Posted by W. Robert Gibson - Jan 2 2008 @ 1:09 PM Re: Week of December 31st I have flown with some excellent women pilots. Like Dr. Harvey, I am not comfortable with women in a combat role. Should they fly?.....of course they should! In our society, women have been the "care-givers", the ones who nurture, and help mend the broken bodies of war. The search and rescue mission preserves that public perception and still allows these flying ladies an active role in a war. Posted by Dr. Alfred D.
